Tales of Repatriation

When I first came to this island
that I called by own name
I was happy in this fortress,
in my exile I remained
But the hours grew so empty
and the ocean sent her waves
In the figure of a woman
and she pulled me out to sea

When you come down to take me home
send my soul away
When you come round you'll make me whole
send my soul away

After 21 hours of travel, door to door, here i am. Back in the USA. Ansonia, CT.

20:57 and it's 78 F. Woo hoo!

Watched the USA women with Mum win the gold in football. It was on channel 1480. I've never seen a TV station with 4 digits! Holy shit.

Then Lobster rolls and beer sitting on patio off of Long Island Sound. It's good to be home.

I feel disembodied from a lack of sleep. The money is all green (what the fuck?) I drove for the first time in 2 years.

Indeed, it is a brave new world.
